What to do if the ERwin DM Licensing Dialog shows “0000ffffffff” as the MAC Address
The preferred method for obtaining a MAC address that is valid for licensing CA ERwin Data Modeler is to open the application (usually as the Community Edition), then go to Help—Licensing. One or more MAC addresses valid for licensing CA ERwin Data Modeler will be displayed. However, if the only MAC address is similar to “0000ffffffff” the MAC address will be invalid. In these cases, alternate licensing must be used.
